From the beech primeval forest Grumsin to Bad Freienwalde an der Oder, to the Hermsdorf mill and along the path of literature "Waldweisen (Lesefährte)" up to Märkisch Buchholz.
From the information point of the beech primeval forest Grumsin in Altkünkendorf one reaches by the biosphere reserve Scorfheide-Chorin the monastery of Chorin. From here the primeval forest route leads to the city of Bad Freienwalde and to the observation tower on the Galgenberg with look at the Oder valley. By the vast moorlands in the nature reserve Märkische Schweiz one further walks to the Löcknitzer forest and lake area, not far away from the city of Erkner near Berlin. Southwards the primeval forest route goes by a vast woodland to the Hermsdorf mill, from where one reaches above the literature path "Waldweisen (Lesefährte)" (also: Sutschkevalley-trail) the place of Märkisch Buchholz in the nature reserve Dahme – Heideseen.
